23-Feb-2015: Finding a Relationship Between Mass and Period for an Inertial Balance

Purpose: We have two objects with an unknown mass and we want to measure their inertial mass by using an inertial balance.

Procedure: Use a C-clam to secure the inertial balance with a piece of tape on the end. This tape must pass through the photogate which which will measure the period in seconds. Measure the period with no mass and then gradually add 100 grams(g) until you measure 800 g.
